Didn't do much this day. Took the scooter for one last ride to a restaurant where I ate a big egg and ham breakfast, and then spent some time on the internet to book a room in Bangkok. I went back to the restaurant that I first ate in in CM (The Mayflower), a little back-lane place with only half a dozen tables. This restaurant has probably served me the best Thai food so far, but strangely, there is a French menu stuck to the wall (briased duck, wild pig, rabbit, etc) and half the clientele there were speaking French. The place is also decorated with that silly Tin Tin cartoon character that the Frenchies like. Nonetheless, the chicken in a coconut soup was great as expected.
I visited one last temple, Wat Chiang Mun, and will soon take a tuk tuk to the airport. Will stay two nights in the same hotel in Bangkok as I did early last week: Fortville Guesthouse.
